Studio bosses behind the next Indiana Jones movie want Scottish legend Sean Connery to reprise his role as Indy’s father.

Connery, who has retired from acting, turned down a chance to appear in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull but execs over at Paramount are hoping he will change his mind and appear in the next movie.

A source close to the project had this to say…

“Steven Spielberg has been working on a script with George Lucas and there is an element of the story that could see Sean returning. Anything is possible in these movies and if Sean wants to return he will become central to the new story.”
