Dennis Quaid Wants To Do G.I.JOE Sequel!
Dennis Quaid has revealed that he definately wants to reprise his role as General Hawk in any G.I. Joe sequels. Talking to Sci-Fi Wire, he had this to say…
“I’m definitely on board if they do another one. I don’t know if they have a script yet, But I’m definitely interested.”
G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra was a massive hit this summer despite getting generally negative reviews, it took a whopping $300 million at the box office.
Quaid went on to say…
“G.I. Joe was exactly what it was meant to be. Stephen Sommers really knows what he’s doing, and he really hit a home run with that.” On where he wanted the sequel to go plot wise he never said, but he did have some suggestions for what he wanted his character to do; “I want to get out of the pit. I want to ride a horse and shoot a gun. I want a horse with an accelerator suit.”

GI Joe was such a flop. I know, I know, you shouldn’t base your enjoyment off of the old cartoon… but c’mon. It’s GI Joe. I watched it with my brother growing up. They should’ve taken that into consideration.
