Michael Caine Reveals Dark Knight Sequel Progress!

michael caineMichael Caine, who played Alfred The Butler in the previous two Batman movies has been discussing the lack of progress on a sequel to last year’s Box Office smash The Dark Knight. He had this to say…

“There is nobody, there’s no script, there’s nothing. It can’t possibly be made before 2011 because ‘Inception’ (Nolan’s current project) is such a big picture.”

And as for those persistent Johnny Depp Riddler rumors?

“Johnny Depp is great in anything, but there’s no Jonny Depp in this Batman. They tell me in no uncertain terms.”

So, there you have it, we’re not going to see a sequel to Dark Knight until at least 2012 and that date feels like a stretch…
