James Michael Tyler, who played Gunther, Central Perk’s resident weirdo in the hugely successful Friends series, has revealed that Friends: The Movie is “definitely on”

This is what he had to say…

“I still keep in touch with a lot of the cast and they say they are really keen. The on thing I can tell you is I am definitely on board to do the film. I really loved my time on the show and I am looking forward to meeting up with the old gang again.”

According to the British Tabloid The News of the World, the program’s creators David Crane and Martha Kauffman have both reportedly agreed to write and produce the movie which is tentatively scheduled to hit cinemas in 2011.
