Venom Movie Update!

Paul Wernick has been talking about the script for the proposed Venom movie which he has been busily writing with Rhett Reese. The Zombieland co-writer had this to say…
“We’ve written two drafts of Venom, and the studio has it, and they’re pushing forward in whatever ways they push forward.”
When asked whether or not the Venom movie would tie in with the upcoming Spider-Man 4, he replied thusly; “We can’t really talked about that, unfortunately. Basically, the studio and Marvel and the Arads are talking our drafts and going beyond figuring out what’s the next step.”
