Simpsons Movie Sequel Not Happening Anytime Soon!

Matt Groening has revealed that he has no plans to make another Simpsons movie until the TV series comes to an end.

Talking to “Super Size Me” director Morgan Spurlock, Groening had this to say…

“It took 18 years to get around to doing the movie, we got very frustrated. We thought it would take two years but it ended up taking four. Some day maybe we’ll do another one — but don’t hold your breath.”

However, fans of the show needn’t worry about The Simpsons disappearing off our screens anytime soon as producer Al Jean responded to a question concerning the TV show’s life expectancy…

“We are contracted to do two more seasons following this one. I gave up predicting the end a long time ago.”
