Is Stephen Fry Really Writing The Dam Busters Remake?

posters the dam bustersOne of the more intriguing rumors currently roaming around the internet is that British wordsmith Stephen Fry is going to write the screenplay for Phil Jackson’s The Dam Busters remake.

I don’t really know what to make of this, it’s good that the remake of the British world war 2 classic is being written by a true British institution in Fry, but can he really pull off an action script?

I hope this rumor is true but I can’t help but harbor some misgivings about it…
