Fable 3 Will Use Natal?
At last nights BAFTA, Lionhead chief Peter Molyneux let slip that Fable 3 will be compatible with Microsoft’s Project Natal.
Quite how the game will utilize the motion capture technology he didn’t say but I’ve got a funny feeling it will use it poorly. Call me old fashioned but what’s wrong with controlling your avatar with a joypad and besides, any integration between games and motion cameras always requires you to stand up to interact between the two.
When I sit down to play some video games I do just that; sit down!
Anyway, he also went on about how Fable 3 will offer micro-transaction to the gamers in the forms of new locations and weaponry/items. Items such as swords and stuff are likely to cost a buck while bigger things like islands will cost considerably more.
Sounds pretty straight forward then…
Anyway, just in case you’re new to the whole Project Natal thing and are wondering what the hell I’m gassing on about, take a look at the creepy Milo trailer…
