For those of you gamers out there looking for your next open-world fps fix then look no further than Borderlands.  It’s been compared to Fallout 3 by many in the industry and in some ways it seems to be a pretty accurate comparison but then in a lot of other ways, it’s more than that.

With more emphassis placed on the shooting mechanics, at the expense of the story I must add, Borderlands looks like what Fallout 3′s combat should have felt like.

It’s being billed as the first RPS, (Role-Playing-Shooter) and seriously, there isn’t a more apt acronym.
