So this week in the UK there has been much furore regarding British National Party leader Nick Griffin’s appearance on BBC’s ‘Question Time’. Thousands marched on the BBC in central London and many picketed various regional offices all over Britain, at an appearance that was seen as validating their significance on the political map.

What the appearance seemed to do for me however was to expose just how misguided and uneducated this man is, and will in the long run be far more detrimental to his party than first feared. That, and the fact he looks like David Brent after a stroke. In fact when I first switched on I was waiting for WWE’s ‘The Undertaker’ to turn up as I was sure it was his manager ‘Paul Bearer’ at the desk. I’ve never known ‘Question Time’ to be so much fun; it was like a surreal episode of ‘Mock The Week’ or a middle class ‘Jeremy Kyle’.
