Last week some rumors started floating around that George Lucas was planning on making another Star Wars Trilogy In 3-D. To me, as rumors go, it didn’t seem all that far-fetched. I mean, why not?
Anyway, Steve Sansweet, some idiot in charge of Lucasfilms fan relations blasted the rumors as…
“Ignorant and stupid”
And he went on to add…
“You shouldn’t believe what you read on the Internet.”
Seriously, this guy is head of fan-relations?
Surely he could have found a better way of shooting down the rumor?
If I was George Lucas I’d send that guy to the unemployment queue quicker than Millenium Falcon Kessel run. There was nothing wrong with the rumor, as rumors go it was harmless, if anything it got people like me interested in the franchise again.
Now, after the way that dick shot us all down I’m pretty pissed with Lucasfilm as a whole, and I was pretty pissed with them in the first place after the prequel trilogy.
For shame Steve Sansweet, for shame!
