Sony have announced that worldwide sales have hit the 140 million mark making it the highest selling game device of all time beating Nintendo’s Gameboy, which hit 119 million and the DS, which has currently sold 108 million to second and third place respectively.

The Playstation 2 was launched nine years ago and is still selling relatively strong, indeed, only a couple of months ago it was outselling the Playstation 3 in some territories…
