Sony Admits That Home Is Not Where Their Heart Is…

playstation homeSony’s Pete Edwards has revealed that Playstation Home is no longer a priority for Sony.

Edwards was talking at the London Games Conference…

“It’s been a long road. We’ve proved there is a market out there and we’ve got a lot of people that spend a lot of time in Home. It’s not a priority right now but there is a business model there.”

I remember I was pretty excited about the prospect of Playstation Home when it was first announced a couple of years ago but the reality of the experience always felt somewhat under-developed and unnecessary.

I haven’t been in Home since it’s launch, I wonder how many others PS3 owners out there who have done likewise?

Sadly, if they shut the doors on Home, I don’t think it will be missed…
