It seems that there’s a lot of masochists out there with the news that Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen shipped a whopping 7.5 million units in it’s first week of retail.

Despite the movie generally getting panned by the critics, it appears that people can’t get enough of the Transformers.

I fear that the impressive box office haul coupled with these sales will only encourage director Michael Bay to churn out another poor effort when he starts work on Transformers 3.

With the first week’s haul behind it, the Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen DVD is already the best selling DVD of the year, which sometimes makes me wonder if there is no justice in the world…
