Seriously, I don’t care about Mission Impossible 4. Never have, never will. Now, that’s not to say that I don’t have any love for the franchise, it’s just that I think the continuing story of Ethan Hunt has run its course.

But, it seems that my opinion doesn’t mean squat to JJ Abrams as he’s going ahead with MI4 regardless. This is what he said when he talked with MTV…

“My guess is, given other things, that I will not be directing the movie. I don’t want to give anything away yet, but I will say that it’s a story that will feel consistent with the world that has been created. It’s not a reboot kind of thing.”

Blah, blah blah…boring!

Come on JJ, you don’t need to be wasting your time with MI4, maybe Tom does, but you don’t.

I want JJ Abrams to give us more sci-fi stuff, he seems to have a flair for it so why not? Anyone can step in and do a MI4, it’s one of those franchises that’s probably gonna keep on churning out movies so where’s the achievement for someone like Abrams?
