Ricky Grevais To Host The Golden Globes…

Ricky Gervais has been confirmed as the host of the 67th annual Golden Globe Awards, according to People magazine
The comedian, who has won three Golden Globes, will front the ceremony next January, marking the first time that the show has had a host since 1995. Presumably this is on the back of the overwhelming success of Neil Patrick Harris at the Emmy’s recently.
“Not only is this the biggest Hollywood celebration of the industry, which includes both film and TV, but also an environment where I feel I can get free reign as a host, I have resisted many other offers like this, but there are just some things you don’t turn down.”
The ceremony will be broadcast live on January 17 from 8pm ET on NBC and the nominations will be announced on December 15.
