Tekken fans will be at fever pitch this week as finally they will be able to get their hands on Tekken 6 and the good news is, for the first time ever, you won’t have to own a Sony branded console to play it as Microsoft have managed to get in on the Tekken action by ensuring that it is released on the Xbox 360 as well. It will be interesting to see what the reception will be like for Tekken 6, after the phenomenal resurrection of the Street Fighter franchise earlier in the year with the awesome Street Fighter 4, it could be argued that there’s something of a renaissance going on with fighting…

New Super Mario Bros Wii Only Be Six Hours Long?

I’m getting pretty excited about New Super Mario Bros Wii. At this moment in time all the major press outlets are busy reviewing in time for it’s November 15th release. But, I did read something that has raised my eyebrows about the game; CVG have reported that the reviewer for the Official Nintendo Magazine claimed that the game is a mere six hours long. Now, I wasn’t expecting it to be as longs as say a Fallout 3, of course that would be ridiculous, what I was expecting was something in the region of a ten hour experience. Six hours feels like DLC to me and considering New Super Mario Bros. Wii is a day…

FlashForward Showrunner Runs Off…

FlashForward showrunner Marc Guggenheim has departed the ABC series, reports AICN. No reason has yet been cited for his exit, but worryingly, reports suggest that network executives have been unhappy with the quality of the show’s storytelling post-pilot. The program, which stars Joseph Fiennes, Sonya Walger and Dominic Monaghan, was recently handed a full season order by ABC and has continued to do well in Thursday night ratings. It is not yet known whether co-creator David Goyer will now serve as sole show-runner or if he will be joined by someone else. Tweet This Post
