I must admit to not being very interested in the upcoming Prince of Persia movie; Prince of Persia: Sands of Time, truth be told, I never liked the video games.

But, I know a lot of you out there are ineterested in it so that’s why I’m posting the trailer.

Jake Gyllenhall plays the Arabian Prince (I know) but for those of you who think it’s another case of Hollywood shoe-horning a white actor in to play what should really be an ethnic part, Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan was offered the role first but turned it down.

At least they tried to do the right thing eh?

Prince of Persia: Sands of Time is directed by Mike Newell who Harry Potter fans will know from The Goblet of Fire so it’s in pretty good hands, also it’s produced by Jerry Bruckheimer so that should tell you all you need to know.
