Has Bryan Singer Begun Work On His Battlestar Galactica Movie?

Bryan Singer has been talking about making a Battlestar Galactica movie for some time now, and for fans of the recent TV show, I just need to point out that it will have nothing to do with it.

Singer’s Galactica reboot has been rumored for ages as have Singer’s return to the X-Men franchise but it seems while one door has shut for the Superman Returns director, another one is firmly open.

The following excerpt was lifted from Examiner.com…

“Now that pre-production has started, any rumors that Singer’s next project was going to be “X” related (as in X-Men) has been put to rest, along with any shot he had of helming another Superman flick. There’s been no word if Moore will be involved in the re-reboot, yet given the rumored “rocky” relationship between Larson and Moore, it seems unlikely.”

So, production has started eh?

I’m not sure what to think about a Battlestar Galactica movie, sure it would be nice but honestly, I would rather a little more time pass before I see any more Cylons. The TV series is too fresh and any movie will just get compared unfavorably.

Surely Singer can see that?

Why not give us a Buck Rogers movie instead?
