Superman Movie Is In Weird Place

V for Vendetta director James McTeigue, who is rumored to be attached to the next Superman movie, has said that the movie is in a “weird place”

Talking to MTV news, McTeigue said the following…

“They’re trying to work out what they’re doing. Warner Bros is trying to figure out their next move on it. There’s some things you can do with the Superman franchise, there’s other things you can’t do. So it hasn’t gone anywhere.”

If you’re listening Bryan Singer, he’s right; there are some things you can’t do with the Superman franchise, or more to the point; shouldn’t do, like for instance, turning the Man of Steel into a dead-beat-dad who ignores the financial obligations of being a father and spends his nights stalking his ex.
