Ah SHIT! Sony Are Thinking About Charging For The PSN

Take a read of what Sony Computer Entertainment president Kaz Hirai said in a recent interview with Eurogamer.net…

“SCE will further increase sales by offering users new entertainment through the combination of hardware, software, peripheral and PlayStation Network. Especially in the online area, we are studying the possibility of introducing a subscription model, offering premium content and services, in addition to the current free services.”

Goddammitttt!!!!!

I did wonder, on numerous occaisons I might add, when Sony would ‘monetize’ the PSN…

It seems that it’s only a matter of time now.  Oh well, I suppose it was good of them to give it to us for free for this long eh?
