Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe Gets A Christmas Special
Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe will return to TV this Christmas for a one-off special, producers Endemol have confirmed.
The BBC Four show has run for five series’ since its premiere in March 2006 and led to the Newswipe and Gameswipe spinoffs.
Charlie Brooker’s Screenwipe Review of the Year will examine Live at Studio Five and the appearance of the BNP’s Nick Griffin on Question Time. Excellent scope for criticism there!!
The programme is due to air late December on BBC Four. Why these popular programmes are stuck in the back and beyond on BBC Four I’ve no idea when you see some of the rubbish on BBC2.
Brooker was also recently confirmed as the host of new Radio 4 comedy panel show So Wrong It’s Right.
