Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition Coming In March

Capcom have announced that Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition will hit stores in March, 2010.
Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition is kind of like a directors cut. The package will include the original RE5 (obviously) plus two bonus episodes, a whopping 8 additional playable characters, new costumes and a new gameplay mode titled ‘The Mercenaries Reunion’.
Playstation 3 owners will get it on a soliatry Blu-ray disc while Xbox 360 owners will get the original game plus a code to enter on Xbox Live which will then enable them to download the additional content.
Of the two bonus episodes, we only have details of the first one. Called ‘Lost in Nightmares’ you take control of Chris Redfield and Jil Valentine as you explore the basement of the Umbrella founder’s mansion. Expect much creepiness…
Like I said, we don’t have any info regarding the second bonus mission.
Resident Evil 5: Gold Edition is released on March 9th for you Americans while us Europeans will have to wait until the 12th.
