Despite the controversy of Activision taking away the dedicated server option for Modern Warfare 2 on the PC, the first person shooter still outsold its predecessor Modern Warfare 1 in week one sales.
This is what Infinity Ward had to say…
“The PC version of Modern Warfare 2 has actually outsold the PC version of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare in its first week. Making it the most successful PC version.”
