Original Mario Kart On The Way To The Virtual Console

Hazzah! The original snes version of Super Mario Kart (which is still the best in my opinion) is headed for Nintendo’s Virtual Console next week.
Now, before you guys get too excited, from what I understand, this will be a straight port of the snes version so there won’t be any added functionality like network play or, well, anything…
Hopefully I will be able to download it to my DSi.
Even though I’ve loved and owned every Mario Kart game, (except the Game Cube, that was just shit) the original Mario Kart is still, and always will be my favorite.
