Remake Alert – The Howling

I can see why they want to redo The Howling, but what about Stephen King's Silver Bullet?
With the recent trend of making Vampire and Werewolf movies, it was only a matter of time before someone turned their attention to the 1981 werewolf classic The Howling.
Well, former studio marketing exec Joe Nimziki is going to direct The Howling: Reborn. Nimziki will also be writing the screenplay.
As of yet, there are no details as to the direction The Howling: Reborn will take, will it be a straight remake or a continuation of the 80’s series of films (seven in all) updated for a new audience?
