Iron Man has managed to snag himself the front cover of the UK’s Empire movie magazine.

The image they use is taken directly from the upcoming Iron Man 2 and will feature on the January 2010 issue which is available this Thursday.

Iron Man 2 opens in theaters on May 7th, is directed by Jon Favreau and stars Robert Downey Jr, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Favreau, Mickey Rourke, Sam Rockwell, Samuel L. Jackson, Scarlett Johansson, Garry Shandling, John Slattery, Kate Mara, Clark Gregg and Olivia Munn
