Despite already getting remade back in 2005, rumors are beginning to circulate that the Weinstein Company and Dimension Films are planning on remaking (again) The Amityville Horror.

Apparently they are already talking to a director about the movie.

Back in 2005, Ryan Reynolds and Melissa George starred in what I thought was a pretty good take on the classic horror movie from the 70′s. (1979 I think…)

I’m normally all for remakes but this remake of a remake seems a tad too soon for my liking although I’ll still probably watch it as that house scares the shit out of me.
