Wii Price Reduction Improves Sales By 85%

Why are people still buying the Wii? Surely we all have one by now?

Nintendo’s Cammie Dunaway (you know; that patronizing lady from the E3 shows?) has revealed that since Nintendo dropped the price of the Wii by 50 bucks, sales have gone up by 85%.

The executive vice president of sales and marketing spoke to the San Francisco Chronicle about how optimistic Nintendo are ahead of the holiday season.

“I think that going into the holidays, the Wii is in a very good position, it has an unbeatable combination of games, experience and unbeatable value, and that continues to put it to the top of people’s wish list.”
