Nic Cage’s Season Of The Witch Trailer
Nicolas Cage has once again teamed up with Gone in 60 Seconds director Dominic Sena to make the medieval horror movie: Season of the Witch, and no; it’s not a remake of Halloween 3. Season of the Witch sees Nicolas Cage play a 14th century knight who has to transport a suspected witch to a monastery where Monks deduce that the witch is the source of the Black Plague. Due out on March 19th, 2010, Season of the Witch continues Cage’s recent run of hi-concept movie choices though I can’t help but feel that, judging from the trailer at least, Season of the Witch looks pretty bland. Cult icons Christopher Lee and Ron Perlman also…
Zombieland 2 To Be In 3-D?
Could Zombieland 2 be in 3-D? If director Ruben Fleischer has anything to do with it it will. Talking to moviehole, Fleischer confirmed that Sony are very interested in making a sequel to Zombieland and that the original cast; Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone and Abigail Breslin are all ready and willing to kick some more Zombie butt. So, when will we get Zombieland 2? “Whenever we crack it” Fleischer then went on to say that Woody Harrelson would like a different backdrop next time around with Paris or Broadway being his preferred choices of locale. He also added that he’d like the next movie to be filmed in 3-D because… “the genre really…
Assassin’s Creed 2 Sells 1.6 Million In It’s First Week
Ubisoft have got to be happy with themselves with the news that week-one sales for Assassin’s Creed 2 have hit 1.6 million. Okay, it’s got nothing against Modern Warfare 2 which hit the 7 million mark, but then that’s an anomaly. The orginal Assassin’s Creed’s opening week figures hit the 1.2 million mark and went on to sell a whopping 8 million copies so Ubisoft will be hoping that Assassin’s Creed 2, which is infinetly better than its predessor, will go on to sell somewhere in the 10 million region. New Tron Trailer To Debut At The Spike Video Game Awards
Not sure what to make of the new Tron teaser trailer, okay, I guess the clue is in the word ‘teaser’ but I don’t know, I just expected more than a blur of quick-cut images and neon colors. Oh, before I go any further, this isn’t a teaser for the movie like I originally thought it was going to be, it’s from the video game adaptation. I don’t seem to be able to find any information regarding the video game adaptation which usually means that it’s a rush-job like movie tie-ins usually are. Hopefully I’m wrong but the cynic in me says I’m not… The new teaser will air at the Spike Video Game Awards…
Is The Silver Surfer Movie Dead?
Just prior to the release of The Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer, a lot of Marvel and Fox execs were getting pretty excited about the idea of a standalone Silver Surfer movie. Indeed, the more cynical among us felt that the only reason The Fantastic Four were given a second movie was so they could launch the Hollywood career of Norrin Radd a.k.a The Silver Surfer. Well, it’s been a couple of years since the poorly-received Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer hit the silver screen and there’s been no sign of a Silver Surfer movie. Writer J.Michael Straczynski has now revealed that the Silver Surfer project is currently in “limbo” over…
