Another Amityville Horror Remake On The Way?
Despite already getting remade back in 2005, rumors are beginning to circulate that the Weinstein Company and Dimension Films are planning on remaking (again) The Amityville Horror. Apparently they are already talking to a director about the movie. Back in 2005, Ryan Reynolds and Melissa George starred in what I thought was a pretty good take on the classic horror movie from the 70′s. (1979 I think…) I’m normally all for remakes but this remake of a remake seems a tad too soon for my liking although I’ll still probably watch it as that house scares the shit out of me. New Sherlock Holmes Movie First In A Planned Trilogy
Robert Downey Jr has revealed that story-lines for two Sherlock Holmes sequels have already been written. Talking to Empire, the Iron Man star admitted that he would love to turn his upcoming Guy Ritchie-directed Sherlock Holmes into a trilogy. He even stated that as long as they continued to be successful, he’d love to do more Iron Man movies as well… “Between Guy and me, the missus (producer Susan Downey) and Joel Silver (producer), we definitely know what we would like to do for the next two sequels. But I want to add a massive disclaimer: I’m just generally a confident person. I’ve no idea where anything is going to go. To tell you the…
Marvel Editor-In-Chief Talks Thor Movie
Marvel editor-in-chief Joe Quesada posted his thought on the upcoming Thor movie on his blog Cup O’ Joe. In particular he addressed the preconceived ideas fans and non-fans will have walking into the cinema to watch it… “People are going to go into this movie with a preconceived idea about what it will be. If you’re a comics fan, you’ll have a preconceived notion of what you’re going to get. If you’re a non-comics fan, you’ll have another notion of what the movie is all about. And what’s really amazing is that both groups will walk away going, ‘I’ve never seen anything like this before within the superhero genre’. It’s so cool, and I don’t…
Top 10 Classic Games That Are Over-rated
Let’s face it; playing Video Games is an expensive hobby, so it is important that we spend our money wisely. By way of the internet and gaming magazines, most of the time we know what games are going to be released up to a year in advance. These games range from brand new ideas, to the annual installment of your favourite game. Inevitably, this leads to much anticipation. A lot gets written about how good the game is looking in the development stage, but when it comes to the release date, far too often there is a feeling of anti-climax. This list contains a selection of games that left me with that very feeling. They…
Nerdles.com Fan-Movie Of The Day – Batman: Dead End
Batman vs. The Joker vs. A Xenomorph vs. A Predator, cool premise or what? Well, that’s what Batman: Dead is all about. Jay and Silent Bob director Kevin Smith described Batman: Dead End as “Possibly the truest, the best Batman movie ever made” Although it must be noted that that was before Dark Knight came out. Filmed in 2003, Batman: Dead End is nothing short of an Internet phenomenon, being downloaded 600,000 in its first week. Director Sandy Collora’s atmospheric short landed him a Hollywood gig as a result of making this fan-film. His next film Hunter’s Prey was supposed to be released this year though I haven’t seen it advertised yet. httpv://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hjp0I_okX0w You can…
