Now Your Avatar Can Own A Pet On Xbox Live

Microsoft have released a collection of pets for Xbox Live users to “adopt” for their 360 Avatars.

Yep, despite adding no functionality whatsoever save for a few stupid animations, Microsoft have gone ahead anyway coz they know that there’s a minority out there who like spending their Microsoft Points on useless shit.

Below is a list of the pets available -

• Large Dog
• Pug Dog
• Dog in Bag
• Cat
• Siamese Cat
• Long Haired Cat
• Goldfish
• Guinea Pig
• Monkey
• Bird
• Snake
• Pony

All pets will cost 240 MSP.

Some third-party developers have got in on the action, most notably Square Enix who are giving away Chocobo pets to its Twitter followers.
