Soloman Kane New Poster, BTW – It’s French

Based on the fictional character created by pulp-era writer Robert E Howard, Soloman Kane hits cinemas on February 5th, 2010 and it looks absolutely mind-blowing.

To me it feels like a cross between Lord of the Rings and Constantine (and a little bit of Van Helsing but in a good way) and is sure to get fans of either series’ drooling with anticipation.

Basically, Solomon Kane is a 16th Century merc who tries to win back his soul, which is owned by the Devil nonetheless, by fighting evil.

Of course, that’s just a nutshell description, the movie, if the stories are anything to go by will be nothing short of a masterpiece and hopefully will kickstart a movie franchise.

Oh, and did I mention Pete Postlethwaite is in it?
