The Director Of The Birds Remake Spreads His Wings And Leaves The Project

Platinum Dunes proposed remake of Alfred Hitchcock’s The Birds remake has been hit by the news that attached-director Martin Campbell has left the project to concentrate on the Green Lantern movie.
Also, Naomi Watts, who was also attached to the project is now expected to leave due to Campbell’s departure.
Though all is not lost folks…
Platinum Dunes have quickly moved to replace Campbell by talking to Last House on the Left (itself a remake) director Dennis Iliades with a view to him helming the $60 million project.
