The running time for James Cameron’s Avatar has been revealed to be a lengthy 2.5 hours long.

Avatar, starring Sam Worthington and Sigourney Weaver hits cinemas on the 17th of this month and in my opinion looks amazing.

Shot in 3-D, Avatar promises to be the movie event of 2009 and I for one can’t wait for it.

Avatar has been granted a 12A certificate in the UK while in the US it’s bagged a PG-13 rating.
