Misfits Season 1 Announced For DVD

Channel 4 has announced that the first series of Misfits is arriving on DVD from 28th December.

The show airs on E4 in the UK every Thursday night and although still having a few weeks left to go of its run, is jumping on the Christmas bandwagon in order to make some tasty Christmas profit.

The DVD will arrive once all of them have been shown, as you would expect, and will run for 271 minutes across two discs.

Furthermore, you’ll be getting over an hour of extra features, which will include a look behind the scenes with the cast and crew, the making of Misfits, and Simon’s films, which are four videos taken by the character Simon on his phone of the rest of the group.  Some pretty cool extras there then.

For those of you having not seen Misfits as yet, is a cool premise on the superhero theme – kind of Skins cast gets superpowers – and has been pretty good value thus far.

The DVD will have an 18 certificate, and will retail for £19.99.
