Bayonetta Director Wants To Finish Viewtiful Joe

With Hideki Kamiya’s Bayonetta getting a very warm response from critics across the board, you’d think that the renowned game designer will be able to do whatever he wants next time round and it seems that if that is indeed the case, Kamiya would like to do another Viewtiful Joe game as he feels that there’s unfinished business there and probably more importantly, it’s the only game he’s worked on that he actually owns the intellectual property for.
Talking to Game Informer, this is what he had to say…
“I don’t have the rights to any of the IPs that I’ve made. They belong to the companies that publish them, and they’re a business so they have a right to exploit those IPs as they want… Viewtiful Joe is probably all I’ve got left. That story is incomplete so I’d like to finish it someday. But that would probably be the most difficult one to do.”
Can you imagine how mad a current-gen Viewtiful Joe will look?
