Kevin Smith’s New Movie Gets New Title

Kevin Smith’s upcoming cop comedy has got a new title but no one will say what it is…yet.
Formally the movie was to be called ‘A Couple of Dicks’ but studio heads over at WB got cold feet on the title when it was discovered that the US TV networks would refuse to advertise the movie due to saucy nature of the title. (Saucy; I’ve always wanted to put that word into a sentence)
As per usual these days, the news broke from Twitter, and this is how it happened…
First up…
“The Movie Formerly Known as A Couple Of Dicks has finally settled on a (network-policy-dictated) replacement title!”
Then there was this one…
“While we’ll always have Dicks in our hearts, the title we just now locked makes me smile on a bunch of different levels -- including this 1: we can now advertise our movie properly (& ironically). And said marketing begins… on every print of Sherlock Holmes, Christmas Day!”
And finally, in a response to a “why can’t you tell us what the title is?” question tweeted by a ‘follower’…
“That kinda thing’s above my pay-grade, sir. WB will announce in a day or two, Dicks is not MY movie; a movie I was hired to direct.”
So what can the new title be?
Cocks and Robbers?
