Truly Outrageous! Could Sony Be Calling Their Motion Controller Gem?
Electronic Arts CEO John Riccitiello might have let the cat out of the bag with regards to what Sony intend to call their motion controller.
At a conference in NYC yesterday, the EA man apparently let slip Sony’s surprise.
Take a read of what he actually said and draw your own conclusion…
“In the coming year, both Sony and Microsoft have announced new controllers. Motion sensor controls, Natal and Gem, these are likely to bring new consumers into the marketplace,”
GEM?
Seriously, Gem?
Sony have been quick to react to Riccitiello’s comment by issuing this…
“No official name for the PlayStation motion controller has been announced.”
Phew, that was close, I can’t ever see myself asking at my local Blockbusters for Gem. Sounds like some eighties sci-fi movie designer drug…
“Gimme some Gem man, I’ll suck your balls”
