If you like your games to be completely retro, and by retro I mean using a game engine that was built a couple of decades ago then Mega Man 10 is gonna be the game of your dreams.

Here is some info on the game courtesy of Nintendo Power…

• Although there are no female bosses in the game, there will be some unique ones as well as the return of some familiar Robot Master faces.
• Mega Man is keeping the same abilities as he had in Mega Man 9. The developers wanted to keep the “simple yet fun” feeling in the game, which has been a hallmark of the series recently.
• There was a definite attempt to meet and exceed the standards set by Mega Man 2 and Mega Man 4, often viewed as the best in the series.

I don’t understand why Mega Man 9 got a free pass from the press just coz it was an authentic “retro” experience while New Super Mario Bros Wii kinda went for the same audience as (well as catering for the casuals) and got criticized for being “lazy”.
