Capcom Delay Dead Rising 2, Super Street Fighter 4 AND Lost Planet 2

Capcom have decided to delay the releases of their upcoming Dead Rising 2, Super Street Fighter 4 and Lost Planet 2.

The reasons given for the delays are as follows…

• Capcom want to avoid competing with other titles.
• They want to preserve the value of each title. (What the hell does that even mean?)
• They would like to maximise the sales of each title. (duh!)
• And finally, they want to expand the lineup of titles in the next fiscal year and afterward. (Again, what?)

Although the aforementioned games have been delayed, no new release dates have been given though it is expected that they will spread the games out over all four quarters of the upcoming fiscal year, which means that for at least one of the titles, we could have to wait until March 2011…
