The White House has come to its senses and won’t hold the State of the Union speech on Feb. 2. Why does this matter to me you ask? Well, this was due to collide with the return of hit show ‘Lost’s final series, and fans of the show were not happy.

When word leaked out this week that President Obama’s team were mulling over scheduling SOTU on the same night ABC had long ago slotted the final season premiere of “Lost’; likely resulting in a one-week delay of the premiere, fans were up in arms.

However, White House spokesman Robert Gibbs assured fans that the President won’t speak on Feb. 2.
