William Shatner “Wouldn’t Mind” A Part In The Star Trek Sequel

williamshatnerThe original CaptainKirk, William Shatner has expressed his interest in reprising his most famous role in JJ Abrams’ Star Trek Sequel.

Appearing on The Howard Stern radio show, Shatner replied “I wouldn’t mind” when asked if he would like a part in the upcoming sci-fi sequel.

He went on to add that he would have loved the have appeared in last years reboot.

“I would have loved to have been part of this historic event. But how do you bring back to life this dead? I died, my character died,”

It was recently announced that Star Trek 2 will be released on June 29, 2012 so that’s plenty of time for the scriptwriters to shoe-horn in at least a Shatner cameo.
