Now that Sam Raimi is no longer making anymore Spider-Man movies, many fans of the World of Warcraft MMO are wondering if the Evil Dead director will not turn his full attention to the movie adaptation of their game.

Well, Sam Raimi has spoken about that and he said that he hasn’t made a decision on anything yet.

Last July, Blizzard Entertainment announced that they’d signed Raimi to direct but since then, we’ve not had any official start dates or well, anything; save for Saving Private Ryan writer Robert Rodat penning the script. Raimi did say back then that…

“At its core, ‘Warcraft’ is a fantastic, action-packed story. I am thrilled to work with such a dynamite production team to bring this project to the big screen,”

My guess is that now that Raimi is free from Spider-Man, we’ll get some info pretty soon and if I was a betting man, I’d bet that we’ll hear some new details on Evil Dead 4 at the same time.

Note – Uwe Boll is ready to step in should Raimi walk away from the project.  (I’m lying but I bet he would)
