Finally, someone is going to be making a Zombie TV series.

Walking Dead; which is based on a comic book by Robert Kirkman has been picked up by AMC and is set during the aftermath of a Zombie apocalypse.

Shawshank Redemption writer Frank Darabont will take up writing duties while Anne Hurd and David Alpert will produce.

Fingers crossed on this one, I’ve been waiting all my life for a Zombie TV series, I’m praying they don’t screw it up.
