If the word around the Internet is to be believed then don’t expect to see Guillermo del Toro’s The Hobbit until the fourth quarter of 2012.

Alan Horn, some big cheese over at Warner Bros predicted that due to delays in starting the production, the actual movie’s release date could be as late as Q4 2012 which is one year later than originally expected.

It’s entirely possible that Horn could simply be confused and that The Hobbit is still on for a 2011 release so we’ll keep you guys posted.
