Capcom have confirmed that Dead Rising 2 will be released sometime this calendar year, in Japan at least…

Also, in more Dead Rising news, Capcom have green-lit a live-action movie based on the game called Zombrex: Dead Rising Sun.

Anyway, back to the game, it is thought that while Dead Rising 2 hits retail in Japan this year, the rest of us here in the West won’t get the game until 2011.
