Not content with Avatar kicking ass at the box office, director James Cameron is already working on a sequel to what is at this moment in time, the second biggest movie of all time.
“We just have to come up with a great story, which we haven’t done yet. I have a rough story. But you need to make a script, so that might take some time. Don’t start going to buy your tickets.”
It’ll be interesting to see what he can do with Avatar 2. Personally, even though I enjoyed Avatar, I didn’t walk away with the feeling that I wanted to see any more giant Smurf movies.

What?! Giant Smurf movies?! Avatar is the best film I’ve ever seen, and it provides the best cinema experience available by a clear mile. The CGI is breathtaking, and the 3D is mindblowing!
I only hope the sequel will be as good as or even better than the first movie. Cameron delivered the goods with Aliens, so I’m sure he can do it again
This is great news to me! I just hope that the second and third installments have as good and as detailed a story! I can easily imagine Avatar becoming as Big and as popular as Star Wars as long as there is good story telling with lots of inspiring details!
