Bungie Talk Halo: Reach “It’s Not Halo 4!”

For those of you out there who are wondering if the upcoming Halo: Reach is merely Halo 4 then Joseph Tung, executive producer over at Bungie and creative director Marcus Lehto are here to clarify a few things for y’all. Up first is Joseph Tung; “It’s not a continuation of the Master Chief story, nor is it the start of a new trilogy. For us, it’s a completely standalone game,” Up next is Marcus Lehto; “We desired to make a standalone title, something that is the culmination of a decade of our efforts building Halo titles. The Hobbit May Be Pushed Back To 2012

If the word around the Internet is to be believed then don’t expect to see Guillermo del Toro’s The Hobbit until the fourth quarter of 2012. Alan Horn, some big cheese over at Warner Bros predicted that due to delays in starting the production, the actual movie’s release date could be as late as Q4 2012 which is one year later than originally expected. It’s entirely possible that Horn could simply be confused and that The Hobbit is still on for a 2011 release so we’ll keep you guys posted. Tweet This Post
