James Bobin, the co-creator/writer/director of Flight of the Choncords is expected to direct the new Muppet movie.
The new Muppet movie is being tipped by Walt Disney to reinvent the Muppet franchise but not in a reboot sort of way, more along the lines of making the Muppets relevant and fun again
The script is being written by Forgetting Sarah Marshal director Nocholas Stoller and Jason Segel.
It’s about time Disney started giving the Muppets some proper respect. There hasn’t been a good Muppet movie since Muppets From Space.
